Finger pointing??

"A teacher can make or remake the life of her pupils. " i once heard this from a teacher of mine, and YES being a teacher now, i believe it is soo true. BUT!!! don't blame US (teachers) if the child's scholastic performance isn't that nice. Teachers are just one of the many factors that may affect the performance of a child. PLUS, Quality Education??? how can WE give 100% quality education if there are 50 pupils under our tutelage?? 50 to 1 is not really a nice ratio in the field.
This is just my reaction to a supervisor's point of view that the performance of the child is depending on the way the teacher does her job. I am really against this idea.

I hope that the Department will REconsider the arrangement of the number of pupils in a teacher's care. if only corruption will stop, then i think MANY teacher applicants may be hired to evenly place the pupils/students among the class so that the teacher can really give full attention to every pupil under his/her care.

Let us help each other instead of finger pointing who to be blamed for the not so nice MPS of the schools. Do your part as an administrator and let us do our part as teachers.... amen.

SUMMER

Hi. been so busy the past days. SUMMER is HERE. the weather seem to be still unpredictable BUT i can feel the summer heat, i used to dislike this place since its quite cold here but now... hays, it is as if i am HOME. :)
Since the summer heat heat is kinda killing us why not take the plunge to any of the places mentioned here or just relax in a peaceful place like your own room. :) make sure the air condition is on. :) just pay the BILL. :)

On work

i am a public school teacher, i have 49 pupils under my tutelage, 49 different attitudes that must be attended to. HAYS!!Anyway, my day wasn't that nice. I got so busy preparing final grades, the school gave out clearances which will be the basis of the release of our salary :(

Most teachers are women, why?? simply because women are closer to kids or fonder of kids than men, few men have the patience to deal with school children. Work can be taken as passion if ONE is really passionate but if not.... work then will become "calvary" than heaven. For me... as of now it is still not a passion yet. Teaching for me at the moment is something more of like :NO CHOICE! I am already here and i need this work due to my financial responsibilities. for me, work must be WANTED not NEEDED, for when ONE wants his job/work then he'll be doing anything to make the job/work worthwhile.

One of my trusted colleague told me that she treats her work as serious as she can be, this made her go to school even on saturdays, which by the way i cannot do for i take my saturdays and sundays only for myself, unless required by the office. :D

there are still so many issues about work that concern women. i hope i can post about these one issue at a time. :D..... so tired.

On Gossips

my day was a bit boring... the people around me were too busy doing the things i have already accomplished. :D i am just waiting for the final grades of my class' subject teachers. I ate lunch with my best friend and we have shared different ideas about life. this made me thought of this POST.
ON GOSSIPS... as a woman, i can tell that MOST women love to TALK!! (not all, but MOST) and there are many issues in life that a woman may talk about, ONCE I HEARD... "small minds talk of people, average minds talk of events and great minds talk of IDEAS." to which criterion do I belong?? Well, i am not perfect (NOBODY IS) but i cannot just admit that i only talk of people, that is NOT so true to me / with me. BUT there are times that I DO, just not that OFTEN. :D my best friend doesn't like to talk about people too, so when we are together, we talk about how to deal with our relationship with work, our BF, and with everything, i learn from her, she learns from me.
But why are there some WOMEN who love to talk about people?? I for one was a victim. In my work, (which most are my colleagues are women) there are those who are not so KIND to me so, i don't like them (they don't like me too) a concerned SENIOR friend told me that i was their topic at lunch time --------------- ME being the "appetizer" whew!! it would have been alright if they were telling kind words / adjectives to describe me but they weren't. HAYS!!!
it is sooo true "YOU CANNOT PLEASE EVERYBODY" but that is not my job.. PLEASING THEM?? oh no!!! very NOT true. I have already impressed the people i needed to impress during application period. NOW i am pleasing myself and my GOD, no more no less. If i have been doing good things this is because i am happy to do it. :D
What do women really talk about?? hmmmm try THIS the answers may be true or not so true to us but... in some way... we'd say, YEAH and smile :D

on cleanliness

as a teacher, it is understood that a woman has a lot of responsibilities not just in teaching her class academically but also holistically, the QUESTION IS>> how can ONE teach if ONE does not KNOW?

CLEANLINESS= this is an important non academic lesson we must know. In this case, a teacher must teach her pupils..right? at school kids are given cleaning task to train them to become clean individuals. I am just wondering why are there teachers (woman at that) who doesn't know how to clean. (even themselves)??? yeah, trust me i know ONE. :D
PROPER HYGIENE= ewww how can ONE become approachable if ONE does not smell right, take care of thy self by having thy self cleaned.

2 of the things taught to kids at school, the same things teachers must know how to do, especially if the teacher is a WOMAN. yeah yeah it is expected to have lots of expectations from women, girls.... there is nothing we can do. But, i agree, a woman must know how to clean and a woman must have good hygienic practice. How can ONE be loved by a man if ONE smells bad?

There will never be perfect woman, but there is a NICE and CLEAN woman, right? Do not let a woman's look deceive you, she may beautiful but she may be ewww!!!

a woman

hello. this is my new blog. i shall be sharing my thoughts about how a woman is.... as a daughter, friend, sister, mother, professional, co worker,...... as a woman.
i have known such wonderful and not so wonderful women in my life, some touched me positively the others... well made me feel NAUSEATED!! but, nonetheless, they are still women, like me they too have their flaws and strength.
this blog will be a witness on how i view women as we all traverse this beautiful life. :D
